🫖 How I Make Ginger Tea

Fresh method (my favorite):

  • Slice 4–5 thin pieces of fresh ginger root

  • Add to 2 cups of water and simmer for 10–15 minutes

  • Strain and pour into a mug

  • Add lemon and honey if you like a smoother taste

Shortcut version:

  • 1 tsp of dried ginger or ginger powder

  • Steep for 7–10 minutes

  • Same flavor, a bit less bite

I drink it in the morning when I’m feeling sluggish, or after meals if I’m bloated.


⚠️ Who Should Be Cautious?

Ginger is strong. It’s safe for most people, but:

  • If you’re on blood thinners, talk to your doctor

  • Don’t overdo it — 2–3 cups a day is enough

  • Avoid right before surgery (it thins blood slightly)
